The White People Collection Agency
is an informal organization of effective (not just well-intentioned) anti-racist white allies and us—people of color often stuck debating with racist white folk over the internet, specifically on facebook.
The WPCA is an ally cookie monster-free, savior-free facebook group that we (the PoC) can post a problematic link to, or tag “The White People Collection Agency”, kick-up our tired feet, and watch our white allies tear the racist(s) to shreds, but still leave them with some new insight. The group uses the phrase “go IN”.
During Kim Katrin Crosby’s visit to Ann Arbor, she shared with us her successes with her Toronto group, so we at the University of Michigan took her idea to facebook. Mia McKenzie of Black Girl Dangerous, Alok Vaid-Menon, and Kim are all part of this group as well—adding anti-racist white allies they know from all over the world.
Any person of color in need of an army can join! Simply add me on facebook, send me a message asking to join, and I will add you! Whether we remain facebook buddies after that is all up to you. :)
I would post a link to the group, but we don’t want a wave of entitled, well-meaning white folk requesting to join. Which brings me to rule #2—white people can only be added by the people of color in the group. We need receipts of your effectiveness.

but always well dressed
And still I try to throw you into my own hurricane
It’s like you spot me trying from a thousand miles away
I looked down on your soul, deep down I know that we’re the same
It’s stupid thinking that you would want to come play my game
